“It’s kind of ridiculous”: Cher Flaunts Boyfriend With 40-Year Age Gap, Claim They “Kiss Like Teenagers”
American singer-actress and television personality, Cher, real name Cherilyn Sarkisian is commonly known as the Goddess of Pop. She has been given the name due to her very distinctive contralto singing voice and how she managed to pave the way in a male-dominated industry and make a name for herself.

Cher opens up about her partner Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards
Artist Cher on her appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show back in 2022, opened up about her beau Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards while addressing their 40-Year-age gap. She said,
“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous. But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous. And I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve. He’s very kind, very smart, he’s very talented and he’s really funny. And I think he’s quite handsome.”
Cher continued to share with Kelly Clarkson that if she had restricted herself to dating only older men, she would have had no dates adding that older men just did not like her that much compared to the younger men who do not care if she’s funny or outrageous or wants to do stupid things or if she has a strong personality. Cher noted that she will not give up her personality for anybody.
In an interview with Extra, the singer described her partner as reserved and more obviously shy than she is. She said,
“I hate to talk about how happy I am, but, no, we have a great time together. We can talk about music. We can talk about everything. He’s got a great sense of humor, he’s got the cutest son in the world ever. We just get each other.”

Back in 2022, a fan asked the artist on social media, about the one quality of Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards that she admires the most to which she replied,
“He’s kind, smart, hilarious and we kiss like teenagers.”
She further wrote,
“I love him because he wasn’t afraid. He’s kind, hilarious, smart, talented, and beautiful. We talk and laugh. We are perfectly matched.”
When people questioned their age gap, Cher clapped back at the criticism stating that love does not know math it seems adding that she and her partner are not bothered by anything or anyone. The couple had reportedly split in May earlier this year before rekindling their romance in September when they were spotted at the Paris Fashion Week at the Balmain show.
An insider at the time shared that Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards is playing the game well because he gave Cher the space when she first called it off adding that she does enjoy her time with him, especially after Tina Turner’s death. The couple had not confirmed if they were back together or not but sources claimed that they stayed in communication even when they called things off.
During her interview with Extra, Cher also addressed that she finally said yes to her Christmas album which is simply titled Christmas only after some convincing from her beau. She said this might be the right time to do it hinting that things are good between the couple.
