Britney Spears’ tell-all audio has opened a can of worms. The 22-minute audio shared with a black background on YouTube showed Spears recalling the horrors of her conservatorship and how her family was complicit in it all along. While fans have nothing but anger and vitriol for Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, there is a person especially close to Britney Spears who has made a statement on the contrary. It is Jayden James Federline, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s youngest son, who gave an interview that will air Friday night on ITV News.
Why did the sons not attend their mother’s wedding?
According to Daily Mail, the young Federline, a 15-year-old boy answered Daphne Barak about why he and Sean Preston, his 16-year-old brother, did not attend their mother’s wedding with Sam Asghari. Jayden James said,
“At the time it just wasn’t a good time to go. I’m not saying that I’m not happy for her. I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t invite the whole family and then if it was just going to be me and Preston, I just don’t see how that situation would have ended on good terms.”
Britney Spears’ Instagram activities had been a topic of speculation as well, more precisely her posting semi-n*de pictures of herself. Jayden James addressed this issue during his interview as well, saying,
“Social media helps her… So if that’s what she wants to do that’s what she wants to do, I’m not going to hate her for that. At the same time, she should come to the realization of whatever it is that stops her loving her family. It’s almost like she has to post something on Instagram to get some attention,” he adds. “This has gone on for years and years and years and there’s a high chance that this will never stop but I’m hoping for me that she will stop.”
According to Jayden James, it is not just Spears’ habit of posting her own pictures that bothers the brothers. According to the 15-year -old, his elder brother, Sean Preston, is camera shy and not comfortable around one. He “doesn’t like the cameras. He asked my mother not to post his photos, and she did it anyway. So it didn’t go well.”
This statement serves as proof that the brothers are quite close to each other and “very united.” Jayden James further said, referencing his brother, “He is always looking out for me and I am looking out for him. We make sure that we are both healthy mentally.”
About his and his elder brother’s relationship with their mother Jayden James said:
“I think Mom has struggled giving us both attention and showing us equal love and I don’t think she showed enough to Preston and I feel really bad for that. We’ve both been through so much pressure in the past that this is our safe place now, to process all the emotional trauma we’ve been through to heal, heal our mental state.”
Jayden James Federline’s contradictory perspective on grand-parents
The brothers, while away from their mother, have been residing with their father and his family – his older kids — Kori, 20, and Kaleb, 18 — his wife, Victoria Prince, and their two kids — Jordan, 11, Peyton, 8. Jayden James loves his current living situation. He said, “I feel this is my safe place. My home. I love everybody here.”
In addition, Jayden James had quite a lot to say about his grandfather, Jamie Spears. He said that his grandfather “doesn’t deserve all the hatred he is getting in the media.” He further went on to say, “I love him, with all my heart.” And that, Britney Spears is “ceasing to realize how much [Jamie] cares for her.”
Jayden James also had quite a contradictory take on his mother’s conservatorship, claiming that Jamie Spears “was just trying to be a father.” He further said,
“At first he was just trying to be like any father letting her pursue her daughter’s dream of becoming a superstar but I did think maybe the conservatorship went on too long, probably why my Mom was very angry about the whole situation that she was working for too long and I personally think she was. She should have taken a break and relaxed.”
In the 22-minute YouTube clip, Britney Spears shared that she felt more anger for her mother than her father because she did nothing to save her from her father’s cruelty. However, Jayden James again has a completely lopsided perspective on his grandmother, Lynne Spears, and his uncle, Bryan Spears. He said,
“They are not bad people! They know what we are going through now. They want our future to be what we want it to be. They just want to watch over us. Memow and Uncle Bryan are a good part of our lives. They have taught me how to deal with things.”
Jayden James admitted that the family feud “has been going on for years. There is a high chance it is never going to stop.”

Britney Spears has been heartbroken by her son’s statements about her. She shared her response to her son via Instagram on Thursday.
However, all is not lost and even Jayden James has hopes for reconciliation with his mother. He addressed Spears during his interview to say,
“I love you a lot, I hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down like this and talk again.”
