Apart from Mark Grayson or Invincible, another character who has been well-received by fans in Prime Video’s Invincible series is undeniably Nolan Grayson aka Omni-Man, the father of the show’s titular hero.

Not only did Omni-Man initially help his son transform into a mighty hero, but also played a crucial role in the entire narrative of the animated series. Following the character’s growing fanbase, J.K. Simmons, the voice behind Omni-Man, revealed that season 3 will feature more of his part compared to the previous two. This news comes as a blessing to fans, as many of them loved Mark’s father more than him.

Fans Will See More of Omni-Man in Invincible Season 3: Reveals J.K. Simmons

Adapted from the original comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Prime Video’s Invincible has gained notable attention from fans. The actor has been the voice behind Mark Grayson’s father, Omni-Man, from the very first episode of the animated series. While we enjoy the newly released part, J.K. Simmons revealed in an interview with ScreenRant that “there will be more Nolan in the future.” This tease has generated positive reactions from fans, as they eagerly await the next installment:

Omni-Man is indeed an intriguing character as he first pretends to be an incredible father, only to secretly scheme against humanity. However, Season 1’s ending saw Mark discovering Omni-Man’s truth, leading to a strained father-son relationship throughout the series. The actor also mentioned:

“Sometimes it feels like we almost lose track of Nolan, or lose focus on that character. And then, we come back and get a big dose of it.”

J.K. Simmons shed light on the mysterious personality of Omni-Man, which excited fans and built curiosity among them. The second season is close to its conclusion, which implies the story will continue in the upcoming season. Considering the double renewal of Invincible after season 1, the third season’s release wouldn’t take much time.

One of the major flaws in Invincible Season 2 is the division of the episodes or giving longer breaks between them. This segregation didn’t sit well with most of the viewers as they desired to watch the season in one go. Thankfully, this won’t be repeated in the third season, as Steven Yeun, the voice behind Mark Grayson, said in an interview with Collider:

“For us, we know that this big break was not fun. We’ve been working hard to get a lot of backlog done. We wanna time this animation thing appropriately. So, yeah, we’ve been working. We’re banking episodes. We know what’s going on.”

Now that the leading voice actor has ensured fewer gaps, fans can expect Season 3 to come out soon. However, the second part of Invincible season 2 is still going on, after the first part made things more challenging for Mark, as he faces the critical choice between conquering Earth for the Viltrumite empire or watching his loved ones fade away.
