The way Jacob Elordi expressed his opinions and experience working with Irish actor Barry Keoghan in their recent thriller Saltburn, makes it quite evident that the actors have indeed slayed their roles. The Mammal star plays a college student named Oliver who’s struggling at Oxford University and then meets Elordi’s Felix Catton who invites him to Saltburn which is the Catton family’s estate.
In an interview with Collider, Jacob Elordi talks about his role and how things unfold in the story when Felix befriends Oliver, scenes that have a notable impact throughout the movie, and most importantly how his co-star Barry Keoghan filled their scenes with his charisma and dynamic energy. The Sweet East star said:
“Barry’s like pure electricity when he acts. You really don’t know what’s gonna happen in a scene so you have to be on your toes, and I really appreciated that. Those little sparks and jabs.”
The Euphoria star in the same interview was also joined by Keoghan who then commented on his co-star describing what it’s like to work with Elordi. The Batman star said:
“With Jacob, he matches your energy. He lets you take the lead and it comes back. It’s not the same thing over and over again, which I admire because then it allows me to react to what I’m seeing and what’s in front of me. It’s the sign of a really, really good actor.”
Saltburn is claimed to be a significant contender against other movies like The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and Ridley Scott’s Napoleon at the box office in time for Thanksgiving Day.
