“Kate hugs people she likes”: Kate Middleton Did Not Hug Meghan Markle Because She Was Suspicious About Her Intentions
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales is known to be a near-perfect British royal family member who always works with certain ethics that the royals follow unlike her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. While the former is a popular lady among the subjects, the latter meanwhile is quite the opposite due to her bad remarks about the family.

Markle has spared almost no one to criticize in the British royal family after she along with her husband, Prince Harry stepped back as the senior working royal of the family. In their docuseries and the Duke of Sussex’s memoir, they have opened up about their narrative of getting a cold shoulder from the former, however, the reports say otherwise.
Kate Middleton is Not a Cold-Hearted Personality, At Least Not to Everyone!
The Princess of Wales, Catherine, who is majorly recognized as Kate Middleton, has always been a role model in the British royal family ever since she started handling her duties. While she is known for her exemplary work in charity work, she garnered attention when Meghan Markle slammed her for giving her the cold shoulder.
However, experts have commented on the Duchess of Sussex’s comments with former Brexit leader and commentator Nigel Farage stating that the former’s behavior might have been because of her suspicion of Markle.
Talking to Sky News host Paul Murray, he shared,
“The whole idea that Kate is this very cold fish, and yet you’ve seen the joy when she met a former schoolteacher of hers, you saw the joy with that wonderful polar explorer.”
He continued how the Duchess of Cambridge is jolly by nature.
“The point is, Kate hugs people she likes, which is why she didn’t hug Meghan because she sussed her out very early on – how wise and how magnificent Kate is.”
On her recent visit, Middleton was seen hugging the people. This was the complete opposite of the claims her sister-in-law made in the Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

The 41-year-old American-British royal member in the Netflix docuseries, opened up about her first meeting with Princess Catherine adding that she gave a jarring reaction when Markle tried to hug her.
During her courtship period with Prince Harry, she was introduced to Prince William‘s wife claiming that the mother of three was unhappy with meeting her.
She shared in the docuseries,
“I was a hugger and have always been a hugger. I didn’t realize that that was really jarring for a lot of Brits.”
She was quite puzzled with her reaction adding,
“I guess I started to understand really quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside.”
Even though Middleton’s first meeting with Markle as per her was quite formal, a close friend of the Duchess of Cambridge shared that the royal family member is quite “warm and friendly” and always showers hugs on everyone around her. Even her recent actions did the talking by itself when she hugged her teacher. With the recent reports, it might be possible that she was just wary of Markle.
