Kim Kardashian Pays Surrogate Who Delivered Her Kids Measly $45K, Fans Say ‘You Got Purses Worth 10X More’
Kim Kardashian, who is used to a lot of attention, got even more back in 2019. Back then, she had her fourth child with her (now) ex-husband Kanye West. It was the second time the couple has used a surrogate. Before their third child was born, Kim in an episode of her reality show said that she and her husband were going to use a surrogate because carrying another baby would be a health risk for her. They already had children named North and Saint. With that being said, the amount for the last surrogacy was $100,000 ($45,000 to the surrogate and $70,000 to the agency).
Kim Kardashian Opted For Gestational Surrogacy During Psalm
According to a surrogacy agency, $98,000 to $140,000 is the average surrogacy rate. The medication itself costs somewhere $50,000 and sometimes even more. With that being said, couples looking to hire a surrogate generally contact an agency, provide the necessary details, and can choose between two options: “traditional surrogacy” or “gestational surrogacy.” In this regard, Kim and Kanye opted to move ahead with gestational surrogacy and announced it during her show. With that being said, many celebrities hire surrogates when expanding their families. In the case of Kim Kardashian, the terms of her contract state that she pays the surrogate to carry a child for her and prohibits them from drinking, going in hot tubs, eating raw fish or cat litter, or having too much caffeine per day.
