Lily Gladstone penned a heartfelt message for the indigenous community providing help and support to the ones who are looking forward to watching the critically acclaimed blockbuster of 2023. The Certain Women actor took to X and spoke about the generational trauma and grief of the indigenous community. The actor’s message read as

“The most pressing thing I’ve wanted to say about Killers of the Flower Moon, especially to Native Women & Youth: See it when and only if you feel ready, and see it with people you feel safe with. You’ll likely have a lot of generational grief to process. You’re not alone.”

“It’s always paramount that people tell their own stories, but it’s also really important that Native stories get the attention of these filmmakers like Scorsese…. It wouldn’t have been Marty’s place to tell an Osage story as an Osage filmmaker, but his place was to tell this story with Osage people.”
