Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland collaborated for the 2022 released adventure film Uncharted. During a recent interview with the reputed entertainment outlet Screenrant, Mark Wahlberg provided an important update about Uncharted 2. According to the actor, the studio recently called him to ask him to grow a mustache. The Ted star did not reveal much about Uncharted 2 and said-
“Actually, I just got a call today that they got the script in. I can’t grow a real beard and mustache, but they said, “Start growing your mustache. It’s gonna take awhile.” I’d be interested to see what the story’s like, and where that adventure takes us. But I’m excited; I know audiences really loved the first one, so we’ll see.”
Uncharted revolves around the character of Nathan Drake, played by Tom Holland, who is recruited by hunter Victor Sullivan to find a fortune hidden in Magellan. The movie featured reputed actors from Hollywood, including Antonio Banderas, Steven Waddington, Sophia Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. Uncharted went on to gross $407 million against the production budget of $120 million.
Tom Holland Believed That Mark Wahlberg Gifted Him A Self Pleasure Item
During the promotion of Uncharted in 2022, Tom Holland appeared in a virtual interview for the media outlet Access Hollywood. The Crowded Room actor spoke about his adventure project and his co-star, Mark Wahlberg. Tom Holland revealed that he misunderstood Wahlberg’s intention behind gifting him a massage gun. He said-
“Mark Wahlberg was kind enough to give me a massage gun after I left his house in L.A. and he drove me back to my hotel. I was confused as to what kind of massage gun this was, having never seen one before, and I thought it was the type of self-pleasure,”
He further mentioned-
“I thought Mark Wahlberg was driving me back to my house for other reasons other than just being a gentleman. I didn’t know you — it’s Hollywood, baby. Who knows what’s gonna happen?”
As reported by People, Mark Wahlberg gifted him the massage gun because he had been talking to Tom Holland about working out, fitness, and recovery. The actor-turned-producer couldn’t believe that his co-star had been thinking that he had been gifted a self-pleasure item by him. He said-
“I can’t believe, the whole time, you were thinking that. Gotta get your head outta the gutter, buddy.”
