Hollywood actress Sasha Calle is one of the latest actors working alongside Ezra Miller in the DC film studio’s The Flash. The DCEU debutant first came to the spotlight with her work in the tv show The Young and the Restless. As the young actress has only started her career, there is not much information about her personal life available to the public.

A young rising Hollywood actor Sasha Calle will be appearing as Supergirl in the recently released DCEU’s The Flash starring Ezra Miller as the lead Barry Allen. Throughout the years, the role of Supergirl has been taken up by different actors and Calle’s portrayal of the role would make her the first POC actor to play the role. Calle was born on August 7, 1995, which makes her 27 years old at the moment.

She was born in Boston but moved to Colombia with her parents when she was 10 years old. After only two years of living there, her family decided to move back to the US, where she attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Calle has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. The 27-year-old actor is already being recognized for her acting skill as she was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Awards for her role as Lola Rosales in The Young and The Restless.

Apart from this, the actress has also worked on various other projects such as Young Blood and Rogue Tiger. As of 2023, her net worth touches the amount of $5 million. The Flash releasing today (16th of June)  has marked her feature film debut.

Directed by Andres Muschietti, DCEU’s latest film The Flash is based on the Flashpoint in the Speedster’s comic story. This is where Bary Allen (Ezra Miller) will try to go back in time to save his mother. But in doing so he will end up causing a multiversal chaos.

The main antagonist of the story is said to be General Zod, and more recently it got confirmed that there is another antagonistic character which is Dark Flash or the Black Flash from the comics.

The Flash is available for viewing in theatres worldwide.
