Kelly Ripa’s long-time trainer Anna Kaiser had some important details to share about what goes on to form those perfectly-toned legs. In an interview, Kaiser revealed that Ripa’s slender legs are the result of hard work, and the workout she follows to achieve those legs and physique. While talking about Ripa’s workout commitment, Kaiser said,
“Kelly and I have been working together for seven years, four or five days every single week. It is a commitment. She is committed to health and fitness, and she shows up every single day.”
Ripa’s trainer revealed that the actress and talk show host doesn’t compromise when it comes to her workout. She shows up every day. She said,
“That’s what you have to do. It’s not going to happen in three moves or three days. It’s going to happen over two years, three years…even ten years.”
Ripa is full of vim and vigor when it comes to her workout sessions. The actress tries to make every minute of her workout fun and interesting.
The Live host’s intense training routine is commendable
Ripa is committed to working out five days a week. Trainer Kaiser works with Ripa for 60- to 90-minute sessions in the afternoon, which are set according to her working and filming schedule. Ripa’s workout sessions are described as enjoyable by Kaiser. She is serious about her workout, but she also manages to have fun with it. Ripa’s trainer emphasizes on intense high-intensity training, dance cardio, and mass and strength techniques such as lunges, jump squats, high knees, and curtsey lunges for her workout.
Kaiser also explained how she decides on a routine based on age and other factors. Kaiser said, “It’s about developing those muscles and then maintaining that muscle as you get older.”
She further added,
“It gets much more difficult to maintain muscle mass over the age of 40. So the more you can fit yourself up and build that lean muscle prior to reaching 40, the easier it’s going to be after that.”
Even when she is on vacation, the actress maintains a consistent exercise regimen. Kelly Ripa and Kaiser also incorporate different types of fitness into their routine, such as SoulCycle classes and yoga.
