The All My Children actress recently took a subtle dig at the former ABC employees turned lovers, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. She mentioned that the married couple would be abstaining from sleeping together to avoid getting into some trouble.

The infamous couple, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were one of the best anchors on ABC. The duo’s teamwork was quite acclaimed in the industry however their affair scandal ended up costing their jobs. The duo exit the company and are now looking for another opportunity to be on TV again. Their relationship has somehow warned Kelly Ripa about working with her husband, Mark Consuelos.
In a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the TV host was asked about her reaction to finding out about the infamous couple’s scandal. While Cohen shared that the duo should have been in the network, Ripa agreed but shared that she has now taken a “vow of chastity” with her husband.

As per her, she would not be sleeping together with her husband when the duo would be hosting Live! show together.
She shared,
“I know how ABC does not like that, you know, TV partners banging on the side.”
Hence, she joked around by stating the couple would not be doing it. After Robach’s relationship rumors with Holmes hit the Internet, they were put on temporary hiatus from the show which was followed by an investigation into the truth. Soon after that, the duo said adios to the network.

The publicized couple as per reports are looking for every opportunity to get a comeback on TV after leaving the network. The New York Post reported that the duo has approached major studios for a gig however their publicized romance story has made things quite complicated for them. Their romance is now the major setback which is clearly an obstacle for them to work again.
As per the reports. CBS Media Ventures, the syndicate arm of CBS have already rejected their talk show proposal. Meanwhile, they got a similar reaction when their talent agency, CAA approached CNN for their comeback. A source shared,
“If they did a talk show, what would they talk about? What’s their expertise — infidelity?” a skeptical TV expert said, stating, “They’d take anything. I think they’d host a game show at this point.”
It was reported that the lovebirds are also down for a show like Ripa and her husband as they gained major attention due to their affair which might help them for a comeback.
