You’ll probably have to talk about this a lot.’ We had Kristen Wiig picking up a few lines the other day, and I think we’ve all become desensitized to it, because we’d just be like, ‘Roll the scene!’, and then she was like, ‘Oh my God?! This is insane!’”
The sequel is titled Sausage Party: Foodtopia and Rogen is developing the eight-episode project alongside Evan Goldberg, which is expected to premiere in 2024. In a formal statement, Vernon Sanders Studios, head of global television at Amazon Studios, had expressed his excitement about the upcoming project, saying that Amazon Studios is thrilled to work with Rogen and Goldberg once more and that they look forward to giving the project a platform for their worldwide Prime Video subscribers.
