Daniel Radcliffe’s name was shot into the spotlight when he was just ten years old due to his titular role in the Harry Potter franchise based on J. K. Rowling’s best-selling book series of the same name. The film series follows the life of a young wizard who was up against a dark wizard who continually tried to take over the wizarding world.

All of the child actors who had a prominent role in the Harry Potter movies gained worldwide popularity. Daniel Radcliffe went on to star in numerous other great movies including a biopic about American musician Al Yankovic, and he believes that he has one of his unique talents to thank for it. However, Harry Potter fans were unimpressed by that unique talent of his.

Although the other guests, the host, and the audience seemed to be quite impressed by Radcliffe, Harry Potter fans remained unimpressed as one of them with the handle desperatevanitydoll commented under the YouTube short posted by the official The Graham Norton Show channel in which the Beast of Burden actor was singing The Elements: “Shame he didn’t remember this in potions class”

Some other users commented:

“Okay I’ve changed my mind, He is no longer the best kid for the role of harry potter… harry was supposed to be REALLY bad at chemistry”

Them folks were so happy he was done😂

It’s Muggle Studies, not Potions class”

Some of the above comments referenced the Potions class that the students of Hogwarts had in the Harry Potter movies. The class used to be taken by Alan Rickman who portrayed Professor Snape in the movies. Radcliffe and his co-star Rupert Grint would often get into trouble in that class.

Every person has a talent of their own and actors are known to be talented people. Even so, sometimes they exhibit more than one talent, for instance, Ryan Gosling mesmerizing the audiences by singing I’m Just Ken in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. Daniel Radcliffe’s talent is rather unique as he sang the entire periodic table while sitting next to legendary singer Rihanna and actor Colin Farrel.

In an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2022, Daniel Radcliffe said that he was confused as to why Al Yankovic chose him to play himself in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. He said:

“I sang ‘The Elements’ next to Colin Farrell and a very amused Rihanna. I guess Al saw that and was like, ‘This guy maybe gets it.’ And so he picked me. So I’m very, very lucky, and now I’ve gotten to have accordion lessons with Al.”

It is good to know that Radcliffe pulling a Hermione Granger onscreen despite being nervous got him the lead role in an epic biopic. In fact, it is quite hilarious that a decade-old video managed to impress Al Yankovic enough to cast Daniel Radcliffe.
