“Shame on you”: Scarlett Johansson Put Avengers: Endgame Co-star Brie Larson in Uncomfortable Spot and The Reason Makes Sense

Scarlett Johansson Shames Her Marvel Co-star Brie Larson
During their appearance on The Ellen Show in 2019, Scarlett Johansson and actor Brie Larson had a great time talking about how they met, and how long they have known each other, from Marvel movies, to their first kiss, and their crazy fan following. They came for the talk show after attending the Los Angeles premiere of Avengers: Endgame
When the show host Ellen DeGeneres went on to ask both the Marvel actors if they remembered, how did they meet and how long they have known each other, The Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona actor asked the same question to her co-star Brie Larson- “You don’t remember how we met”, to which The Glass Castle star replied- “I do, at dinner?” Scarlett Johansson exclaimed – “No! Clearly, it made an impression on me, but somebody else didn’t care.”
Brie Larson exaggerated- “We met at the dinner on New Year’s Eve”— which also wasn’t right. Scarlett Johansson replied- “We worked together”. The Captain Marvel star was embarrassed and hid her face on the sides of the couch and exclaimed- “Oh My God! It’s the truth”. Scarlett Johannson said- “Oh my god! Bad, bad. Shame on you.”
Brie Larson mentioned that she could not remember it because she was basically a glorified extra and she was Scarlett Johansson, so she was super thrilled and excited.“I noticed you, Brie. I noticed you. You were not a glorified extra,” the Black Widow star said, smiling. The Lucy actor did notice Brie Larson while filming for the 2013 movie Don Jon, which was both starred and directed by Joseph-Gordon Lewitt. While talking about the New Year’s Eve dinner, Scarlett Johansson mentioned that it was thrown by her and Brie Larson had arrived with their mutual friend.
Scarlett Johansson Recalls Her Struggles On Being A Child Artist
Being a child artist, in the world of cut-throat competition and well-established names, marking your place is a tough task. The Marvel star Scarlett Johansson started her acting career as a child artist and today she is one of the most bankable stars in the world. Back in October 2022, the actor made an appearance on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert’s 500th episode. She spoke about the struggles of being a child artist and even mentioned how she was ‘hypersexualized’ at a very young age. The 38-year-old actor revealed-
“Because I think everybody thought I was older and that I’d been [acting] for a long time, I got kind of pigeonholed into this weird hypersexualized thing. I felt like [my career] was over. It was like, ‘That’s the kind of career you have, these are the roles you’ve played.’ And I was like, ‘This is it?’ The runway is not long on that. So it was scary at that time. In a weird way, I was like, ‘Is this it?’ I attributed a lot of that to the fact that people thought I was much, much older than I was.”
Scarlett Johansson even expressed words of gratitude for her loyal fan base and for the golden opportunity she was given by the Marvel Cinematic Universe for playing the Black Widow in the billion-dollar franchise. After the premiere of The Avengers: Endgame, Scarlett Johansson thanked the crowd and said-
“I don’t know what to say, I’m extremely overwhelmed. Thank you so much for this past decade of time’s been absolutely life-changing. It’s been such a pleasure to come to work every day, I feel incredibly fortunate to be with such a beautiful cast of creative people, open-minded people, and it’s been an incredible journey. Impossible to put into words, thank you so much.”
Scarlett Johansson is one of the most talented actors Hollywood has ever produced and has been a part of movies from almost every genre. She became more famous after playing the role of Black Widow in the various installments of Marvel Cinematic Universe for years.
