According to recent reports, Riley Keough and her grandmother Priscilla Presley have reached a court settlement over her mother’s Trust. A source told People magazine that the actress is relieved and doesn’t want further drama with Presley. The insider added,
“Riley is relieved to have settled the dispute over her mom’s estate. She doesn’t want any drama with her grandmother. She was hoping they could reach a settlement quickly. Riley is still grieving her mom. It’s been very tough for her. She wants to focus on making memories with her own daughter now. This is her priority.”
On 17 May 2023, Priscilla Presley told Entertainment Tonight,
“My family has resolved all confusion as it relates to our plea to the court and request for document interpretation after my daughter Lisa Marie’s untimely passing. Although some media identified such a plea as a lawsuit, I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter. As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together.”
She added,
“My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we have needed to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together. We love and appreciate all of you and the Presley family is stronger than ever.”
Riley Keough’s grandmother Priscilla claimed that a modification made in 2016 to her late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley’s will was invalid, as per the court documents obtained by the US Weekly. The actress said it removed her and her daughter’s former business manager Barry Siegel as co-trustees and substituted them with the War Pony star and her brother, Benjamin Keough. Presley also disclosed that Marie Presley’s signature seemed fabricated, and the modifications were not witnessed or authenticated.
