‘So F*cking Painful’: 50 Shades of Grey Star Dakota Johnson Reveals Dirty Scene Where Jamie Dornan Threw Her on the Bed So Hard She Got Whiplash
Dakota Johnson made her big-screen debut in 1999’s Crazy in Alabama, but she only became a household name after the 2015 American erotic romantic drama Fifty Shades of Grey. In the movie, she plays the role of Anastasia “Ana” Steele who falls for a billionaire named Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan). She reprised her role as Anastasia Steele in the 50 Shades Of Grey sequels – Fifty Shades Darker (2017) and Fifty Shades Freed (2018).

The actress talked about getting hurt while shooting a scene for the movie
In an interview with Mirror in 2015, Dakota Johnson talked about filming different scenes for 50 Shades Of Grey. She recalled one scene, “I got whiplash once from him throwing me on the bed; so f***ing painful. And I wish we had a gag reel from the shoot.” The actress also revealed that they had 17 takes, so her head was just snapping all day to the point where she couldn’t move her neck at all.
In the same interview, Dakota Johnson also talked about damaging the set
She recalled another incident from the sets of 50 Shades Of Grey, “One time we were doing a scene in Christian’s kitchen, and I [thought it would be funny] to hide in a cabinet. I pulled the handle, but it was not a real cabinet. The entire set came down on me.”
She talked about working with Jamie Dornan
She revealed that her injuries helped break the tension on set. She said, “The fact that I could laugh with [Jamie] was nice. Sometimes I did walk off the set feeling a bit shell-shocked. The drive home from work always helped me snap out of it. And a big glass of wine.”
