“The funeral was about the Queen not Them”: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Were Offended at Queen’s Funeral, Plan to Make More Revelations About Royal Family
Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex separated themselves from the royal family in 2020, they have been making harsh allegations left, right and center. The couple did a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 in which Meghan Markle made shocking claims against her in-laws. She accused certain senior members of the family of discussing her son, Archie’s skin color, and that for a plethora of reasons she had become suicidal.
The Suits alum has been very vocal about her alleged maltreatment at the hands of the royal family and some fans have even started calling her out for an extreme display of victimhood. However, this time around, it is the royal prince himself who is looking to possibly smear the name of his family.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dissatisfied with cold royal treatment
When Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September, a matter of pure contemplation for everyone was whether the estranged royal couple would make a comeback to bereave the late queen with the rest of the family. A comeback they made and several incidents from their tour and the monarch’s funeral became headlines.
And now, there are whispers in the air that the royal pariahs weren’t impressed with the treatment meted out to them during their stay. They have reportedly been dissatisfied by the snubbing, and for not feeling as welcome as they had expected.
And if palace confidential, Richard Eden is to be believed then the estranged prince is adding a chapter in his upcoming book about the disappointing treatment he and the missus got during the funeral of England’s longest reigning monarch.
Prince Harry reportedly adding another chapter in his memoir to document his insult
Prince Harry announced a tell-all memoir quite some time ago, and the book has been dubbed a “time bomb” for the royal family. It was slated to be published some time ago but the date has been pushed yet again and that has led to speculations that the father of 2 is adding yet another chapter to the book.
Royal expert, Richard Eden said:
“Jeffrey Archer, well-connected in the published world is saying that Harry is writing a new chapter completely. It will be on the Queen’s funeral and the events surrounding it.
The new chapter will give him a chance to address those stories about him being offended by not being able to wear his uniform and then not having the ER letters on his epaulettes.
This could be a way that all the tenses are correct, referring to the Queen in the past and then having that new chapter could be a quite elegant way to do with it. It would suggest that the book is being delayed so it may come out next spring rather than next month as we’ve been led to believe.”
Several people have questioned Meghan Markle and the prince’s self-centeredness in bringing the focus on themselves even during a time of grief. Royal biographer Angela Levin commented on the same, “Are H and M marking the royals out of ten for how warmly they should have welcomed them? The funeral was about the Queen not them. Endless moaning.”
Meanwhile, the royal family is waiting dreadfully with bated breaths for what Prince Harry might allege in his latest endeavor.
