The View’s Sunny Hostin Goes Nuclear, Says Donald Trump’s a “bigot, racist, misogynist, liar, cheater, and s*xual abuser”
A tense day was evoked at The View studio, following the Town Hall meeting with Donald Trump, broadcasted by CNN. Having a heated discussion on the burning topic, Whoopi Goldberg, the legendary entertainment figure, took the responsibility of headlining the show.
However, during the latest episode of The View, things went haywire as Sunny Hostin majorly disagreed with her co-hosts while going through the Town Hall meeting.
Interrupted quite often, Sunny Hostin still voiced her opinions and criticized CNN for giving Donald Trump a platform to speak. Extremely furious over the Town Hall meeting, Hostin made her case before others interrupted her tirade.
The View Touched Upon The Town Hall Meeting
During the recent episodes of The View, the hosts joined the hot topic table to discuss the recent CNN broadcasted Town Hall meeting with Donald Trump. Talking about it, the hosts engaged in a heated up debate as Sunny Hostin presented different opinions. Starting a long rant trashing CNN for giving Donald Trump a platform to speak, an infuriated Hostin voiced her opinions.
The Town Hall meeting comes a day after the jury found Donald Trump liable for s*xual abuse and defamation in a civil case brought by E. Jean Carroll. Thus, extremely furious at CNN for providing Trump a platform despite the charges, Sunny Hostin reacts to the former president being liable for battery and defamation in the E. Jean Carroll case.
However, finding the audience of the Town Hall meeting filled with Donald Trump supporters, The View hosts were utterly shocked. Joy Behar, although previously claimed to be a “defender of the 1st amendment” was equally bewildered upon realizing “the town hall meeting with Donald Trump…had this very sycophantic audience,”. Behar further stated, “Let the American people see what he’s really like. But Sunny disagreed with that 100 percent.”

Sunny Hostin Brutally Slammed CNN And Donald Trump
Previously on the show, Sunny Hostin was repeatedly interrupted while she presented her opinions on why CNN shouldn’t have provided Donald Trump a platform. However, upon realizing that the audience was filled with Trump supporters, the hosts allowed Hostin to voice her opinion. Given the opportunity, Sunny Hostin began by slamming CNN for allowing Trump a platform to address the Ukraine issues, and his policies for the second term in the White House.
Considering the legal case where Trump was found liable, Hostin stated, “I think that you don’t give a bigot and a racist, and a misogynist, and a liar, and a cheater, and a s*xual abuser, and a defamer a platform of three million people”. Trashing CNN and Trump with her chain of thoughts, Hostin further started finding the faults in the former president’s discussion. “I think that that town hall will be studied in journalism schools…It was not fact-checked appropriately,” Hostin claimed.
Further calling it a strategic move, Sunny Hostin mentioned why Donald Trump chose to sit for the Town Hall meeting. “He agreed to the interview because he knew he could steamroll her (the CNN host),” Hostin revealed. Calling out all the issues related to the Town Hall meeting with Donald Trump, Sunny Hostin presented her unadulterated opinions. Although she was interrupted way too often, Hostin eventually collected herself and continued the discussion.
