“There’s some PTSD attached to it”: Sandra Bullock Was Terrified of Confronting Channing Tatum After Her Daughter Fought With Magic Mike Star’s Daughter at School, Had to Devise Ingenious Plan to Stop Fighting
Kids everywhere are pretty much the same, engaging in petty fights, finding it hard to make friends, and even at times finding it difficult to score well due to lack of attention. It’s a no-shocker that even celebrity children get into similar troubles from time to time. Sandra Bullock had quite the experience with her daughter when she engaged in a squabble with Channing Tatum’s daughter, at school.
The two children at odds with each other forced their celebrity parents to take on their parenting responsibility and manage the issue at school. Meeting Channing Tatum through her daughter’s school feud, Sandra Bullock recalled how terrified she was to face the actor after such an event.
Sandra Bullock And Channing Tatum’s Daughters Engaged In A Feud
Sandra Bullock is a single mother to two adopted children, Louis, 13, and Laila, 11. The Oscar-winning actress has done a great job in their upbringing, however, faced some troubles during their preschool days. Bullock’s daughter Laila engaged in a school fight with Everly, who is none other than Channing Tatum’s daughter. The Bird Box actress seemingly met Tatum through her daughter, before they became co-stars for The Lost City.
In an interview, Bullock and Tatum shared the event that introduced them to each other. “We have two very, very strong-willed little girls that, you know, at that young age were very much butting heads” Tatum explained about the beef between their daughters. Bullock went on to say, “We’d get calls and I’m like ‘please let it be Everly,” to which Tatum quickly stated, “Please let it be Laila.” Apparently, both the actor’s daughters were being competitive towards each other, therefore making the two equally responsible for the fight.
Failing to settle the disagreements between the little girls, the school principal devised a plan of letting the two compete at the task of being the kindest. The plan worked wonders, allowing the two celebrity parents to breathe at ease.
The Aftermath Of Laila And Everly’s Squabble
Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum‘s daughters definitely gave up competing with each other after they grew tired of “trying to alpha the other one out”. However, there was still a lingering fear about the entire squabble between the two actors. Although Tatum took things lightly considering it a kid’s fight, Bullock definitely took on panic mode.
“I’ve blocked it all out.” Tatum shared, while Bullock stated, “There’s some PTSD attached to it.” However, despite the entire squabble, the two actors couldn’t agree more on the unique way of meeting each other. Tatum and Bullock were soon cast for their roles in The Lost City, during which their daughters, Laila and Everly, came on set and spent enough time to become friends.
The actors further stated how their daughters, once they became good friends, can’t get enough of each other and are constantly begging for sleepovers and hangout times.
