“This is not going to work”: 50 Cent Warns Diddy Against his “bad move” After Apology Video Over Disturbing Cassie Ventura Clip
American rapper Sean Love Combs, who goes by his stage name Diddy, has recently admitted to having physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend Cassie. However, this apology has not only disappointed his millions of fans but also rapper 50 Cent.
Diddy is widely known for songs like I Need A Girl, Victory, and Come With Me, but his alleged behavior with his ex-girlfriend has landed him in big trouble, and the apology he has issued does not seem to be of any help to him.
50 Cent Does Not Approve of Diddy’s Apology
American singer and dancer Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, mononymously known as Cassie, has been seen in a violent encounter with her former partner. Ventura was in an on-and-off relationship with Diddy from 2007 to 2018.
All seemed well between the two, but when Ventura filed a lawsuit against him last year (via The New York Times), people wondered if things were actually good between the former couple. Recently, a video clip went viral on X that allegedly showed Combs misbehaving with his ex-girlfriend. The rapper can be allegedly seen physically abusing Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel.
Although Combs apologized in a video posted on Instagram, Curtis James Jackson III, professionally known as 50 Cent, thrashed him for the same and warned him that such a gesture wasn’t going to help at all. Jackson wrote on X: “SMH bad move”

Undoubtedly, a mere apology video can never compensate for such hostile behavior, and a lot more seems to be coming head-on towards Diddy.
Fans Are Not Reacting Well to This Situation
After Ventura filed the lawsuit, the Gotta Move On singer’s lawyers denied the allegations in a statement released to PEOPLE.
Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations. Ms. Ventura’s demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.
In response, the actress’ lawyers said that the money was offered to keep her silent, but she had chosen to do otherwise. However, just one day after the case was filed, both artists came up with a mutual settlement on November 17, 2023 (via CNN).
Ventura did put forward some terms to which Diddy has agreed. The exact terms of the settlement have been kept private. In a statement, she said (via PEOPLE):
I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.
Although the settlement has been done and Diddy came forward with a public apology video, fans are not ready to let it go. Here is what some of them had to say:
How do videos like this remain 'hidden' for 8 years?

I NEVER WANT TO SEE ANYONE SUPPORT, PROMOTE, ACKNOWLEDGE, OR DEFEND THIS MAN EVER AGAIN. EVER.

Diddy did it and he will do it again if he is not jailed

Fans want Diddy to be charged for his actions and are also blaming the law for not doing so. They are claiming that the rapper apologized only because he got caught and not because he was sorry about what he did.
