Kim K filed for divorce from the rapper in February 2021. Talking about her relationship with Kanye, Kim stated in the latest episode of The Kardashians,
“If people knew what my relationship really was like I think they would be like, ‘How did this last this long?'” But I can live with myself knowing that I tried everything humanly possible to make a situation work and so I can walk away feeling absolutely guilt-free.”

Kim also talked about how being in the public eye and having children impacts one’s relationship.
“When you have a child, you will do anything to try to make it work…When the whole world is looking at you, laughing at you, and calling you every name in the book — do you know how hard that is? It is 10 times harder to stay in a situation than leave.”
Kim responds to Kanye’s public remarks about her and her family
Kim’s relationship with Kanye has been tumultuous even after their divorce since Kanye made several public statements attacking Kim and her family. Kim replied to Kanye’s remarks in an Instagram post in February and said,
“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness. Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”
Despite the very public nature of the divorce, Kim has finally found happiness since she is now in a relationship with Pete Davidson. Kim referred to Pete as “the best human being” she has ever met and said that he is “really thoughtful and humble and genuine”. The two met in October 2021 during Kim’s SNL performance, after which Kim called the producers of SNL asking for Pete’s phone number.
