Lloyd is a 27-year-old British guitarist who has been playing with Machine Gun Kelly’s band since June 2022. Before joining the band, Lloyd was an accomplished musician with over 800,000 followers on her YouTube channel.

It was through this channel that MGK discovered Lloyd’s talent and invited her to join his Mainstream Sellout tour. In an interview with NME, Lloyd explains how she was discovered.

“MGK literally just messaged me on Instagram one day, after seeing some of my videos. We Facetimed, we seemed to vibe really well, and before I knew it, I had my visa and was flying from London to LA for rehearsals.” 

Considering just how well the tour did with sales, chances are she made over the six-figure mark for her time on tour with the singer. Along with her compensation for being a member of MGK’s band, Sophie Lloyd makes a lot of money from her YouTube channel and the brand endorsements from her notoriety on the social media platform.

Sophie Lloyd’s PR Puts The Record Straight

Sophie Lloyd’s net worth is estimated to be around $5 million, but that has not been confirmed. Before these rumors, Lloyd was known for her talent and business skills as a musician, but now her name has been conflated with Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s relationship.

In response to the rumors, Lloyd’s PR team released a statement calling the accusations “meritless” and “disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary.”

“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media. Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship is untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”

Despite these denials, the rumors continue to swirl. Many fans are taking to social media to speculate about the alleged affair. Some have even accused Lloyd of being a homewrecker, blaming her for the couple’s breakup.
