‘We Were In Relationships’: Jennifer Aniston Reacts to Rumoured Relationship With Friends Co-Star David Schwimmer
FRIENDS first aired 27 years ago and among other iconic things from the show, ‘Ross and Rachel’ has become an expression in itself over the years, that doesn’t need any introduction. Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer’s beautiful chemistry on-screen led to one of the most popular relationships in sitcom history, Roschel.
With chemistry that wild, obviously there were rumors about something going on between the real-life Ross Gellar and Rachel Green, but an affirmative answer was never received. On a similar note, a source close to Matthew Perry had revealed a few years ago that he had been in love with Courteney Cox for years and could never confess because she was married. Fans balled their eyes out for the unrequited love and some even hoped on the sly that a similarly forbidden love story might be in store for Roschel fans.
Like any loved and followed TV show couple, fans expected that Aniston and Schwimmer might have had some entanglement. Obviously, both of them have been asked the same question many times. This time around, Jennifer Aniston has given a straight answer to whether or not she has ever been physically involved with Schwimmer and (hopefully) put an end to the unending line of queries.

Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer have confessed their feelings for each other
The cast of FRIENDS was a part of an HBO Max reunion special episode in 2021 where both Schwimmer and Aniston revealed that they had a crush on each other and it was quite apparent to everyone in the cast and crew who watched them act all goofy around each other. The makers of the show Marta Kauffman and David Crane had also revealed a long time ago that Ross and Rachel weren’t supposed to be the central romance of the show but they developed the storyline that way because of the two actors’ natural on-set chemistry. Therefore it can be safely concluded that they did like each other but it just wasn’t the right time and they were both seeing different people.

Did they b*ng or not?!
Us Weekly reported that in 2021, during an episode of SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Jennifer Aniston revealed whether or not she b*nged David Schwimmer and said, “I would proudly say I b*nged Schwimmer if that happened, but no.”
Discussing the fiery yet wholesome on-screen chemistry between Ross and Rachel, the 53-year-old actress said, “The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channeled everything into Ross and Rachel. I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did,” while swearing that she and Schwimmer never slept together.
Jennifer Aniston concluded and told the host Howard Stern, “And [Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow] would know [if we did] because they would’ve heard about it. They can vouch for me.”
