Kelly Ripa is one of the most famous names in the television entertainment industry. The American talk show host is always in the news and making headlines for one reason or another. Ripa recently made headlines after she finally bid adieu to her long-time co-host of Live! With Kelly and Ryan, Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest announced earlier this year in February that he would be leaving the show after hosting it for almost 5 years. Ripa tore up as she said goodbye to Seacrest on the pre-taped last episode of Live! on Friday last week.
In another interesting piece of news, Kelly Ripa revealed that her kids have blocked her and Mark Consuelos on all social media platforms. According to Ripa, her kids were not even aware of Ryan Seacrest leaving the show until she told them.

In a recent interview with E! News, Kelly Ripa talked about her kids blocking her from social media accounts. She said, “I’m certain they have blocked any channel with any mention of our names.” The Live! co-host further explained her kids’ decision and said, “Just like they block us on social media. They block us any way they can.”

Her kids might probably have blocked her to not receive any inappropriate comments that Ripa makes frequently. For instance, Ripa is very vocal about her s*x life with Mark Consuelos and that is something no kid would like to hear about their parents. Ripa also posts some pictures on her Instagram with Consuelos that her kids might find inappropriate.

Kelly Ripa further talked about her kids and said that they are in a “whole ‘nother subculture’.” The kids don’t have any idea about what is going on in their parents’ professional lives until Ripa or Consuelos talks to them about it. Michael, 25, Joaquin, 20, and Lola, 21 are the 3 kids of Ripa and Consuelos and none of them knew that Ryan Seacrest was being replaced by their father.
Ripa further talked about how the kids were completely caught off-guard when she told them the news. She said, “They’re like, ‘What do you mean? What are you guys doing?’” Consuelos also talked about their kids’ nature. He said, “They don’t really pay attention to what we’re doing.” He further added that the kids are just happy for their parents.
Mark Consuelos will be replacing Ryan Seacrest as the permanent co-host of Live! and the first episode of the talk show will air on Monday.
