Kevis Sussman who played the role of Stuart Bloom was one of the most memorable characters from the American sitcom The Big Bang Theory. After 7 hit seasons, The Big Bang Theory said goodbye to its fans in 2019. Kevin Sussman struggled to find acting jobs after The Big Bang Theory ended

In 2019 when The Big Bang Theory came to an end, Kevin Sussman didn’t land any acting jobs immediately after that. The 52-year-old actor struggled for a while in 2020 and 2021 to find acting jobs for himself as per reports. Soon, the actor got a great acting opportunity in 2022 in a limited Hulu series. Sussman was cast in the series The Dropout. Sussman did a good job in the dark comedy. 

Joshua Kristian McCoy was full of praises for Sussman when he watched his performance in The Dropout. McCoy said.

“Every passing set of headlights or ringing phone sets them off, it’s akin to corporate horror. Watching them break down is simultaneously tragic and hugely cathartic when things turn their way.” 

His performance in this dark comedy was appreciated by many people online. The Netizens applauded his acting performance in the series which also has Dylan Minnette playing the lead.

Kevin Sussman will be seen in Apple TV’s Lesson in Chemistry

Sussman’s next project is with Apple TV. The actor will be seen in the adaption of Bonnie Garmus’s best-selling novel. The series is called Lesson in Chemistry. Sussman’s role details are not yet revealed by the makers. Reportedly, the actor is very excited for his role in this project. The Big Bang Theory gave Sussman a much-needed break in the acting industry. Reportedly, Sussman’s net worth is $3 million and he was paid $55,000 per episode when he was working in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

The show changed his life in many ways. During the initial days when the sitcom was released his role was minor and wasn’t going to be appearing for many episodes. The unscripted line with Penny gave him more time in the sitcom. While talking about his early life, Sussman said,

“I used to work at a comic book store. I worked at Jim Hanley’s Universe in New York City while in acting school.”

He further added,

“I wasn’t a fan of comics before I started working there, but I became a fan afterward. I am a really big fan of Frank Miller and Alan Moore.”

People still remember Sussman as Stuart in The Big Bang Theory because of his memorable role in the sitcom. The character got him much-needed fame and fortune.
