She received a lot of praise for her performance in the movie. In an interview with CBS, Bullock explained that her “work in front of the camera needs to take a pause… until I don’t feel like I feel now when I’m in front of a camera.” She was further asked by the host the primary reason for taking a break to which she said, “I want to be at home. So I’m not doing anyone any favors who are investing in a project if I’m saying, ‘I just want to be at home.’ Because I was always running, I was always running to the next thing. I just want to be present and responsible for one thing.”
Bullock takes her acting job very seriously and she is very passionate about it but for now, she has decided to dedicate some time to her kids. Bullock said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight ” I need to be in the place that makes me happiest. I take my job very seriously when I’m at work, and it’s [a 24/7 job]. And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family.” Bullock graciously explained why pausing the acting job is important for her now.

Bullock has two adopted children, Louis Bardo Bullock, and Laila Bullock. Louis was adopted in 2010 and is currently 13- years- old. In 2015, the 58-year-old actress decided to adopt her second child, Laila and she is 11- years old now. The Oscar-winning actress kept Louis’ adoption a secret. Bullock was able to conceal her impending adoption with the help of close friends and family. Bryan Randall is Bullock’s long-time boyfriend who supported her and is a great stepdad for Bullock’s kids.

I’m so tired, and I’m so not capable of making healthy, smart decisions. And I know it.” As Bullock has decided to step away from her acting career, the mom of 2 will be focusing on her two children and herself until she feels to make a comeback.
