The makeup tycoon faced allegations of sharing pictures of her baby, whose face she had not yet revealed to divert the attention from the Balenciaga incident. A TikTok user alleged through a video that the sudden revelation of Jenner’s son, who goes by the name Wolf was to draw attention away from Kim Kardashian’s connections to the fashion house.

A TikTok user reposted Kylie Jenner’s new photo with her son and suggested that Kris Jenner advised the sisters to post good pictures following the Balenciaga scandal. With the rise of speculation through social media, Jenner replied through the comment section. She wrote, “Uh whyyyyyy would i post my child to cover up for balenciaga ? this is why i don’t do this. always something to say.” This marked the first time Jenner addressed the scandal. The Kylie Cosmetic founder has been seen wearing Balenciaga boots and sunglasses in one of her shared photos.
Kim Kardashian has a close connection to Balenciaga, issued her statement on Sunday when forced by fans. She wrote, “I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.” The mother of four also shared her feeling of shock after seeing the images.

Balenciaga received a series of negative feedback on their new ad campaign featuring children. The luxury brand’s holiday gift range involved children holding teddy bear handbags from the brand. It also included stuffed animals dressed in a way that was BDSM and bondage-inspired.
The controversy surged when a court document relating to child pornography was then seen in the backdrop of a picture from Balenciaga’s earlier spring 2023 campaign. Amid the campaign controversy, the fashion house has posted two apologies.
