’90s Stars Who Gave Up Acting: What Are They Doing Now?
What are your favorite actors of the 90s doing today? Perhaps you’re wondering where that young actor who gave you countless laughs is today? Maybe it’s time you asked yourself whatever happened to that actor you really liked while growing up in the 90s. With that being said, we have managed to track down all the info on what these actors of the 90s who quit acting have been up to with their lives –
Jonathan Taylor Thomas
Thomas began his career in 1990 when he portrayed Kevin Brady in The Bradys. Jonathan Taylor Thomas was a teen heartthrob of the ’90s, but since then has left the world of acting behind in pursuit of more intellectually ambitious goals. Like so many former child stars, he’s been quite careful to not burn any bridges and it seems to have paid off with his brief comeback as Jack Ryman, the son of Tim Allen’s character on ABC’s Last Man Standing. These days he’s more focused on revisiting his indie roots by writing and directing movie scripts.

Jake Lloyd
He was 10 years old the first time audiences worldwide saw him on the big screen. Young Anakin, as he played him in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, turned heads when it came out back in 1999. Unfortunately, all the attention Lloyd received following his role as Anakin ended up being too much to handle for the young actor, and he soon became one of the most tragic cases of child star burnout there is. Sadly, by 2010 – less than 15 years since Episode I first hit theaters – Jake Lloyd had fallen ill. Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, Jake’s condition took a toll on both his mental and physical health. Thankfully, despite everything Jake has been through he has focused not just on getting healthy again but also on living an active life filled with good meals and lots of love.

Since his child acting days, Korsmo has moved on to pursue other endeavors and he’s enjoying what many individuals consider more meaningful careers: law school and being an environmental engineer. Today, he is an educator, a political activist, and a lawyer.
Leanna Creel
After starring in Saved by the Bell as Tori, Leanna Creel went on to study history at UCLA and later film and television at that institution, too. She found her way into directing independently but eventually began working with other people again on features currently streaming via Encore Studios. Today, she’s a film producer, director, photographer, and screenwriter as well.

Karyn Parsons

Walker.
