Amber Heard is now one of the most controversial stars in Hollywood. Heard began her career by appearing in music videos. The first video she got featured in was Kenny Chesney’s There My Life. In 2004 the actress appeared in a minor supporting role in the Jack & Bobby television series. Though it wasn’t smooth sailing for her at the beginning of her career in Hollywood, the actress successfully gained the attention of the industry’s heavyweights and worked in several iconic films.

Heard was last married to Hollywood legend Johnny Depp, but fate had other plans for the former couple. After their highly publicized divorce, the actress wrote a controversial op-ed in the Washington Post in 2018, claiming to have suffered domestic violence during her marriage to Depp.

The Edward Scissorhands film star sued Amber Heard in March 2019, stating an op-ed his ex-wife wrote about domestic violence abuse was defamatory and asked for $50m in damages. The Aquaman star filed a $100m countersuit. During their lengthy lawsuit trial, the former pair revealed many shocking details. Tremaine told the jury:

“Ms. Heard was filing a restraining order at a courthouse in downtown Los Angeles, so I dispatched camera people to that location. It’s not by any means a celebrity hotspot. We would only ever send people there if we had been tipped off that something was occurring, and there was somebody present there.”

He continued,

“Their objective was to capture her leaving the courthouse, and she was going to sort of stop and turn toward the camera to display the bruise on the right side of her face, the alleged bruise.”
