Now, according to sources, his health deteriorated a lot last year as he was recently diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia(FTD).

The condition is allegedly untreatable but the love from his fans has given him tremendous support. In other news, Bruce Willis’ ex-wife, Demi Moore is allegedly trying to stay closer to the actor in his final days.

Bruce Willis’ family shared the news of his diagnosis

On Thursday, a statement was released by Willis’ family. Since his diagnosis back in March last year, the actor has received a lot of love from his fans. Therefore, the statement began with his family being grateful to his fans. The statement read, “As a family, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the outpouring of love and compassion for Bruce over the past ten months.” The statement further explained the nature of the Glass actor’s disease. “his condition has progressed, and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia, known as FTD,” the statement further read.

The Die Hard actor’s ex-wife is trying to stay as close as possible to him

A source close to Bruce Willis revealed that his ex-wife, Demi Moore has grown closer to the actor. The duo was married for almost 11 years and share 3 daughters together. The source said, “Demi has been in constant contact with Bruce and Emma.” The source further added, “She’s taking every opportunity she can to spend time with him. If she’s not there by his side, she’s calling on the phone just so Bruce can hear her voice.” According to sources, Demi Moore has also grown closer to his current wife, Emma Heming.

The source further added that the whole family is “cherishing every moment” with him because they know that ” he won’t be around forever“.
