Vin Diesel has been the face of the Fast and Furious franchise since the beginning. He has played the lead Dominic Toretto for over two decades. His character has gone through a major change as the franchise has grown over the years.

The franchise is known for its unbelievable action sequences. For more than 20 years, the Fast & Furious movie series has given audiences extravagant action scenes. Whether it’s taking out a tank on the highway or leaping out of buildings in a sports car, Dom and his team do the seemingly impossible things. The team even launched a Pontiac Fiero into space.

With the release of Fast X, fans have been shocked, surprised as well as disappointed. The series that thrives on action lacks the same in its 10th installment. In Fast X, Toretto and his family take on the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced. Dante Reyes, a cold-blooded baddie played by Jason Momoa, is the antagonist in the movie.

Fast X even lacks to show a fight scene between Toretto and Reyes, making it more disappointing for fans. There are reports that a final face-down between the two will be shown in the Fast X sequel set to release in 2025.

Vin Diesel’s Fast X paved its way into theaters for the audience. Despite having some shocking elements, the movie lacked the action drama that the fans enjoyed under the direction of F. Gary Gray. The director has been part of the franchise for a long time.

He directed the eighth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. With Fast X lacking the powerpack action drama, fans took to Twitter to share their views about Gary Gary being a perfect choice for the 10th installment of the franchise.

A fan wrote,

“I’m sorry but FastAndFurious is never topping this. F. Gary Gray should’ve not only directed Hobbs & Shaw but been the go to guy for the rest of the series post 8.”
