Only Murders in the Building is coming back to the crime scene! The superhit comedy-murder mystery series on HULU, starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short, working as a trio of podcasters who investigate true crime and grisly murder.

The show has now been renewed for a third season which denotes its success of the show. Disney and Hulu’s 20th Television announced the third season of the second season of Only Murders in the Building, which premiered with consistent episodes on June 28. Co-created alongside John Hoffman, season one of the crime comedy made its debut as the most-watched comedy series in Hulu history last year

“Only Murders in the Building is the true crown jewel of our slate,” said Craig Erwich, President, Hulu Originals, and ABC Entertainment. “Its appeal across generations, the intersection of humor and heart, and its truly original approach are a hallmark of and testament to Dan, John, Steve, Marty, and Selena’s work. Both the seasons of Only Murders have been “certified fresh” at 100% approval from critics on the aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes.

It starts from where the first season of Only Murders in the Building of Season 2 showcases “Only Murder” podcasters Charles Savage (Martin), and Mabel Mora (Gomez) unmasking Arconia Board President Bunny Folgers’ killer (Jayne Houdyshell). However, three are three complications that arise: the trio is implicated in the homicide o Bunny and is now the subject of another competing podcast, and they have to deal with some  New York neighbors who think they had committed murder.

The second season is currently ongoing, there is a new lineup of suspects like Amy Schumer (from Life & Beth) as a fictionalized version of herself, Cara Delevingne as artist Alice Banks; the new occupant of Sting’s apartment; Christine Ko as pregnant board president Nina, who is Bunny’s replacement; and Shirley MacLaine as Leonora Folger, Bunny’s partly-blind mother.

Season 2 also co-stars Tina Fey as rival podcast host Cinda Canning,  very cunning, Michael Rapaport as Detectives Williams, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Kreps, Zainab Jah, and Jackie Hoffman, Russell G. Jones, and Michael Cyril Creighton as Arconia tenants.
