Amber Heard is a captivating actress, known for featuring in films like Aquaman and The Rum Diary. In recent times, she has been one of the most controversial figures in Hollywood. Amber Heard Returning to the Silver Screen
Leaving the complex narratives of her past romances behind, Amber Heard is starting anew. Her first film since the trial is ironically, a love story titled In the Fire.
Heard plays a psychiatrist named Grace Burnham. Her character travels to a plantation in Colombia to treat a boy named Julian. The boy is suffering from some problems, which the locals believe to be supernatural. It is an interesting crossover of religion and science. However, Heard sees it as a film about love.
In conversation with People Magazine at the 69th Taormina Film Festival in Italy, Heard shared her views on In the Fire saying:
“The film is a meditation on the almost supernatural powers of love told through a strong-willed and independent woman at the turn of the 20th century.”
Heard’s way of presenting the film has inspired intrigue. With this film, she has made it clear that she has arrived and is as ambitious as ever about her goals.

Talking more about the film during the interview, Heard said,
“I feel honored to be part of this labor of love and to be the lead in [director] Conor Allyn’s vision. I feel lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing cast. They’re as dedicated and magical as the characters they play. It is about the boundaries that love can cross and its creation, and really about the overwhelming power that love has. I don’t want to sound cheesy about it, but it’s a movie about love.”
In the Fire is currently in theatres and will be available digitally from October 13.
Moreover, Heard will also resume her role as Mera in DC’s Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, which will be released this December.
