Benedict Cumberbatch finds inspiration in his co-stars
Benedict Cumberbatch being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Studio has been working with multiple actors in different movies. However, Cumberbatch has come to admire his co-stars Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr with whom he shared the screen in the Marvel Studios blockbuster film Infinity War.
Talking about this Cumberbatch says he had learned a great deal from these two well-versed actors. Benedict Cumberbatch likes to stick to the script but while working with Tom Holland and Iron Man he admired their quality of improvisation. Cumberbatch was stunned to see how both actors did things that were not at all scripted with so much ease.
“You throw yourself out there in those huge sand pits. The remarkable thing I learned from Tom Holland and RDJ on Infinity War was seeing how at ease he was, just in improvising about Aunt May with Robert Downey Jr. He did this thing that wasn’t scripted at all. I’m quite a canon guy. It’s about the text for me. To be free with that and to have some maneuverability in it and to be able to improvise, and on such a large canvas, was a real eye-opener” said Benedict Cumberbatch
Benedict Cumberbatch: A remarkable journey in the industry
