The mother of five has always been an open book with her fans, sharing many of her problems on her reality shows and in candid interviews as well. The 44-year-old reality TV star recently acknowledged that she made an attempt at suicide after her problems became too much for her to handle.
However, she also shared that she has improved greatly since turning the corner. Price discussed her attempt at suicide after being detained for drunk driving on Mark Dolan Tonight on GB News. According to her, she made an attempt at suicide after reaching her “rock bottom” following her arrest.
She overturned her vehicle in a collision in September 2021 close to her Sussex home. After admitting to drink-driving while ineligible and driving without insurance, she received a 16-week prison sentence with a 12-month suspension, a 2-year driving ban, and 100 hours of community service.

In a recent interview, the former glamour model discussed her struggle with mental health issues as well as the horrifying incident.
The mother of five appeared on Mark Dolan Tonight on GB News to discuss her weekly therapy sessions and the tragic realization that she didn’t want to live during her darkest hour. In an interview, Price stated, “I definitely want to make a comeback and prove people I can because I’ve been there and have told my story. “Literally, I hit rock bottom. It was that bad that I tried to commit suicide, but I’ve come up from that. You can get out of that rut. If I can do it, you can do it.”
The media personality admitted that she felt suicidal following her arrest and felt as though she had “let herself down” by getting involved in the crime.

The reality star previously confessed that she had suicidal thoughts around the time of her arrest for drunk driving. Price admitted that she had “let herself down” when she was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She has reportedly hit a low point in her mental health. Her uninsured BMW X5 overturned on a country road close to her West Sussex home in September 2021, and she was subsequently detained for drink-driving. After being arrested, the celebrity checked into The Priory right away and was detained for drinking and driving, operating a vehicle while ineligible, and operating without insurance in court.
Katie Prince was given a 16-week sentence with a two-year suspension at Crawley Magistrates’ Court. On a lighter note, Price discussed her professional goals and stated that she would like to resume the product releases she made when her career was at its peak. In addition, she even expressed a desire for more kids, made jokes about an upcoming TV project, and disclosed that she sees a therapist once a week.
She concluded while assuring Mark Dolan that she was a survivor and that she thought all the things she had accomplished over the years were “quite amazing.” Life has not been easy for Katie Price despite her fame and wealth; she has had to deal with drug abuse, thefts, assaults, and bankruptcy in addition to a very rocky love life.
