A lot has happened since Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s infamous trial. The Aquaman actress tried everything in her capacity to win the Virginia trial, something that left Depp in a deep financial and emotional loss in the process, but in the end, victory came to be righteous as Depp was given a clean chit by the judge.

Since then, Heard has maintained a relatively low profile. While Depp’s legal team gained celebrity status following this trial, one person who closely followed the proceedings went unnoticed.

The “Pirates Of The Caribbean” star’s first wife, Lori Allison whom Depp married in 1983, has come forward and described deep empathy for Johnny Depp. Allison, who has remained on good terms with Depp, opened up about what Depp exactly went through after he lost the 2020 libel case in the UK. Despite losing projects, to getting slammed for being a wife-beater, Depp came out stronger after last year’s victory. She revealed that she broke down after she saw him with Heard.

Lori Allison Still Cares For Johnny Depp!

Amber Heard may have proved to be the devil in Johnny Depp’s life, but there is one long-gone woman who still wishes good for the actor. Depp’s first wife, Lori Allison may have been married to the star for just two years, but the two have since remained close. During a recent appearance on the “Popcorned Planet” podcast, Allison provided insights as she followed the infamous defamation trial between The Rum Diary co-stars.

Lori Allison, a former makeup artist, said that she was terrified that Depp may be on the losing side in his defamation trial against Heard. She revealed that it “broke her heart” to find out about her ex-husband in court. Not only this but when Heard started dating Depp, Allison was left heartbroken. At one point, she also revealed that she was concerned for Depp. She said:

Amber Heard was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
“I had met her before, I’d been to parties at his house and she seemed really nice and she was gorgeous and what’s not to love?

“But as the time went by and I would hear things about her – she who shall not be named – he didn’t seem too happy all the time. I didn’t see him a lot so I can’t really say.

“The things that affected me more were the things he said in court – I probably broke down several times because I felt really bad for him.

“He’s very private – which is why I don’t do interviews – and I think for him to come out so wholeheartedly was what he really needed to do. I thought it was either going to be an epic train wreck or it was going to go really well.”
