Katy Perry Goes Viral for Video of Struggle to Find Her Own Seat in King Charles Coronation Ceremony
On 6 May 2023, King Charles III was crowned as the new king of England. The guest list for this event was filled with renowned people from around the globe. From Celebrities to politicians, many big names were spotted at the Coronation event. Katy Perry was also spotted at the event as she has had a good relationship with King Charles for many years.
Perry had a hard time trying to find her seat at the coronation event. The Singer was trying to look for her seat and her confused walk at the Coronation event turned into a meme material overnight.

Katy Perry made an entry in a beautiful lavender dress designed by Vivienne Westwood. She paired her outfit with a pearl choker. While the Firework singer did make a dazzling entry, later she struggled for a few minutes to find her seat. The singer was seen looking for her seat and going around Westminster Abbey trying to find her seat.

An usher was trying to help Perry to find her seat, but the 38-year-old singer looked, confused and worried. She was spotted asking other guests who were already seated if her name was on any seats. Her confused walk was captured on camera and was turned into a meme right after that.
Katy Perry will be performing on 7 May for King Charles III Coronation Celebration
Perry was very excited when she was invited to perform for King Charles III’s coronation ceremony. The Unconditional singer will be performing reportedly with her fellow American Idol judge Lionel Richie. While expressing her excitement about how she reacted when she was invited to King Charles’s coronation, Perry said,
“I’m very excited… I might be posting a lot because I’m going to be in a castle, really.”
She further added,
This is crazy. The invitation was very majestic. It was like cursive handwriting that I’ve never seen before… I loved it.”
Reportedly, Perry will be performing some of her biggest hits at the coronation celebration of King Charles III on 7 May 2023. Reports suggest she will be performing her hit songs like Firework, Wide Awake, and Roar. As the singer has always had a good relationship with King Charles III, Perry was speculated on the guest list since the beginning.
In 2007, Perry performed for King Charles III’s NGO British Asia Trust. She was also the brand ambassador for the NGO. The singer explained in an interview that the NGO works to end child trafficking which was a big issue back in the time. She said the NGOs goals aligned with her values and that is why she said yes to being the ambassador.
