The 52-year-old actor replaced Ryan Seacrest after the former host of Live with Kelly and Ryan decided to step down. Ripa has talked about how excited she is in past interviews that her husband will be joining her as a co-host.
However, a new prediction suggests that Ripa and Consuelos’ marriage may be in jeopardy if they work together.

The first episode of Live with Mark and Kelly was not at all what the viewers expected. There was a lot of PDA between the couple and some fake banter. The critics said that the episode was painful to watch. Many are intrigued to know how Ripa and Consuelos will keep up with their marriage while working together on this show.

Ripa and the 52-year-old actor met during the screen test for All My Children in 1995. When they started working together on the drama they bonded well on the sets during filming. At the beginning of their romance, they kept their relationship a secret, but soon after, they appeared in public as a couple at the Soap Opera Digest Awards.
On 1 May 1996, the Cheaper by the Dozen actress eloped with Consuelos to Las Vegas. They got married at the Chapel of the Bells. For their honeymoon, the couple headed to Italy as Consuelos wanted to have the best honeymoon for Ripa. In 1997, Ripa and Consuelos welcomed their first child Michael Joseph. They have two more children Lola and Joaquin Antonio.
