Netflix released the official trailer for the same on May 10, and the series debuted on Netflix in June 2023. It was released after Governator, and his FUBAR series, a major Netflix hit. The three-part documentary has intrigued Schwarzenegger’s long-time fans as it will allow them to discover the truths, experiences, and failures of one of the most well-known figures on the planet and one of the most incredible action stars ever.

Why Did Maria Shriver Decline To Be In Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Docuseries?

The director of the new documentary, Lesley Chilcott, shared that she had multiple talks with Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife, Maria Shriver, about her participation in making the docuseries, but she politely declined the offer. The director also discussed why she might have rejected the opportunity.

The three-part Netflix series delves into Schwarzenegger’s personal life. The third episode reveals how Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s marriage fell apart in 2011 after the revelation of his affair. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver got married in 1986, and they were together for 25 years before Shriver filed for divorce in 2011, and it was finalized in 2021. It was then revealed that the actor and body-builder had a secret affair with his housemaid and fathered a child, now-25-year-old Joseph Baena, with his housekeeper.
