Back in 2021, the lead stars of the Spider-Man series, Tom Holland and Zendaya, appeared in an interview with IMDB to answer some fan questions while promoting their then-new film, SpiderMan: No Way Home.
On being asked, “What’s the best thing about playing Spider-Man and MJ,” the actor won the heart of his co-star and lover.
He replied,
“One of the best things about playing Spider-Man is getting to work with Zendaya.”
The actress giggled and responded that the best thing about playing her character was having the opportunity to work with him. Their love and friendship continue to steal fans’ attention. While their participation was indeed fruitful for each other, the MCU film gave them a hefty salary, let alone global exposure.
Tom Holland’s Salary for Playing Spider-Man in The Marvel Cinematic Universe
The English actor gained global fame by playing the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU. While he credited his lover being one of the best things happening while portraying the famous character, his salary was the other thing that influenced him in some way.
As per reports, his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War earned him $250,000. For his role in Spiderman: Homecoming, he got half a million which added up to $1.5 million with bonuses.
His appearance in the Avengers: Endgame raked him $3 million. As of last year, his base salary is now at least $4 million for a single film appearance. It was even reported that he got paid $10 million to play Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
As for his love interest, the actress, as per Puck, racked up $10 million as bonuses alone for her appearances in Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise.
