According to a social media post by The InSneider on X, Pedro Pascal has taken an exit from his upcoming project Weapons. 

However, the actor is already ahead in his league with respect to others after the success of The Mandalorian season 3 and the first season of The Last Of Us.

Pedro Pascal has landed with the sequel of the Ridley Scott-led Gladiator. He would be seen alongside Normal People star Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn, Denzel Washington, and Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan. Gladiator 2 is still under production and is expected to release in November 2024.

He would be seen in Drive Away Dolls, an Ethan Coen project along with Matt Damon, and Margaret Qualley.

Willem Dafoe’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony took place on January 8, 2024. From playing the character of the antagonist Norman Osborn in the 2002 released Spider-Man to portraying the role of an eccentric scientist in his critically acclaimed drama Poor Things- the versatile actor has been entertaining us for decades. Narcos star Pedro Pascal is a huge fan of Willem Dafoe. During the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, he paid tribute to the celebrated actor.

As reported by the media outlet Entertainment Weekly, Pedro Pascal spoke about watching Platoon with his father. He said

“I’m gonna go off the book just for a second: I saw Platoon in the movie theater with my father and [Dafoe] made me cry so hard my dad sent me to the bathroom. This was 1986. I was like 10 years old — and I still wanted to be an actor. He redefines the concept of rebellion and originality by making it about generosity, integrity, kindness, and fun. Willem is a good time and an amazing friend.”

The Mandalorian star further shared about his experience working with Willem Dafoe in The Great Wall and how the legendary actor celebrated his birthday. He said-

“It was the warmest introduction into a world I’d spent my life admiring and learning from. He has been my greatest teacher. You cannot compare his career to anyone’s, truthfully. So it is our fortune to have him and I personally am forever grateful.”

Prominent celebrities like Guillermo Del Toro, Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef, Sean Baker, and Wim Wenders were also present at the prestigious ceremony of the 68-year-old actor and even labeled him the Pope Of Hollywood.
