Princess Diana Remembered on Twitter as Ex-Husband King Charles Officially Succeeds Late Queen Elizabeth in Royal Family
Following the late Queen Elizabeth II’s death last year, her son has finally taken up the position of King. On the 6th of May, King Charles III’s coronation ceremony was held at the Westminster Abbey in London. Along with him was his wife Camilla, who took on the position of queen consort as the royal rules permit. However, when it comes to the current King Charles, there is a whole lot of history in concern to his marriage with the late Princess Diana.
She was undoubtedly one of the most famous royal figures, especially among the common people of the country. Therefore, even 26 years after her death, people took to social media to remember the late princess on the coronation day of King Charles III.
People Remember Late Princess Diana on King Charles’s Coronation Day
King Charles III’s coronation day saw thousands of people at Westminster Abbey in London who came to witness the event. From famous people to the ordinary, the day saw a gathering of the lot. His ascension to the throne was announced following the death of Queen Elizabeth II last year.
Along with the current king, his partner Camilla has been crowned as the queen consort. The two have kept their relationship strong, even in public, over the years since he separated from his late wife Princess Diana in 1992.
But on this same day, many took to Twitter to remember the late princess who died a tragic death in 1997.
Even while she was alive, the common people loved her for her humble approach to things despite being a royal. And now, 26 years after her death, people are still expressing their love for the late princess. One wrote,

Apart from all the love showered on the late princess, a royal photographer also mentioned her indirectly on the coronation day. As the day also marked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie’s 5th birthday, the photographer wished the kid by posting a picture of him looking at his grandmother (Princess Diana).
A Brief Look At The Late Princess Diana’s Life
Lady Diana Spencer had only been a young woman of 20 years when she married the English royal Prince Charles in 1981. However, throughout their marriage, the two seemed to be visibly distant from each other, even in public. Although they did have two kids (Prince William and Prince Harry), they eventually separated after a decade-long marriage in 1992.
The reason was given out as infidelity firm both sides among many other issues. Five years after the separation, Lady Diana’s life came to a tragic end when she died in a horrible accident in Paris in 1997.
