Since the 80s, Arnold Schwarzenneger and Sylvester Stallone have been constantly compared to each other. And it is all due to their similar tough-guy roles in Hollywood. Just like Schwarzenneger was known for The Terminator, Stallone was equally popular for Rambo.
After so many decades, the question was brought to light once again recently as legendary boxer Mike Tyson was asked to settle the debate. The boxer shared his opinion on it which seems to be leaning towards Stallone more.
But the Rambo star’s opinion on the debate seems to be much different from Tyson’s as he opened up about his rivalry in the recent Netflix Schwarzenneger documentary.
Mike Tyson Gives His Opinion On Sylvester Stallone VS Arnold Schwarzenneger Debate
When it comes to settling a debate, an opinion from someone who is a master of a particular art can be valuable. In Hollywood, two extremely popular actors started careers around the same time in the 70s and 80s. And they are none other than action-movie heroes Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Both of them were famous for having ripped bodies and delivering acting scenes mostly physically rather than vocalizing and such. Inevitably, the two were constantly compared with each other as rising stars in the action genre.
Many years have passed but one debate is still up and about regarding which one out of the two actors could take over the other in a real boxing match. And recently legendary boxer Mike Tyson gave his view on it in an interview with Mario Lopez.
His reply leaned towards Stallone as the more capable one which he explained by saying,
“Stallone fought people before, he actually boxes. I don’t know if Arnold really actually fought before”
But that is just Tyson’s opinion based on what he knows about the two Hollywood actors.
What Does Sylvester Stallone Have To Say About His Rivalry With Arnold Schwarzenneger?
The recent Netflix docuseries, Arnold documents the life of Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger. Throughout the peak years of his career which started around the 80s, the actor has been constantly clamored for another action star Sylvester Stallone.
Both of them worked on similar genres that required a lot of action and physicality. So the actors were known for their ripped and toned bodies and the action scenes deliveries. And after all these years the two seem to be past any possible rivalry as they praised each other in the recent docuseries.
While Schwarzenneger thanked the Rambo star for the motivation the rivalry brought, the latter praised his fellow actor calling him “superior”.
