British actor Tom Hollander is primarily known for his performance in Matthew Macfadyen and Keira Knightley’s Pride And Prejudice. T0m Hollander Talks About The Preparation Required To Play The Character of Capote In Feud: Capote vs. the Swans

During a recent interview with the reputed media outlet Vanity Fair, Tom Hollander spoke about the second season of Feud and even revealed the preparation that was required to play the character of Truman Capote. The King’s Man actor mentioned spending almost seven months listening to the audio recordings of Truman Capote’s real voice in order to mimic his voice. He said-

” I’d just listen to him a little bit at the beginning of my day and then throughout the day to remind myself, And just before a take on set, I’d listen to him again and I would be in it. Then he’d come back. It becomes a form of a series of habits, like a dance step that you learn.”

Tom Hollander led documentary drama is based on Laurence Leamer’s nonfiction book  Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era. The book was released in 2021. While talking about the character of Truman Capote, Tom Hollander said-

“He may have been a very, very difficult person. I don’t think he was ever really loved when he was young, and so he didn’t trust anyone,” said the veteran actor. And he was an addict and he was not in control. People who take that much alcohol and those many drugs, they cease to be who they are. I think we should be compassionate toward him. No one is wholly bad or wholly good.”

Truman Capote was a famous American novelist and playwright. Audrey Hepburn’s classic Breakfast At Tiffany’s is based on Truman Capote’s novel by the same name.

Tom Hollander Often Gets Mistaken For The Spider-Man Actor Tom Holland

English actor Tom Hollander often gets mistaken for the famous Marvel star Tom Holland. During an appearance on the widely watched chat show Late Night With Seth Meyer recently, The Night Manager actor revealed that he is often mistaken for Tom Holland due to the similarity in their name. He had even received Tom Holland’s seven-figure movie bonus mistakenly. Tom Hollander said-

“It’s been very difficult, because you know I was here first but he’s enormously famous. I sat smugly in the audience having just done a BBC show for 30 grand or something which was gonna get me through the next year or so, and I was thinking ‘well this is marvelous, I’m very prosperous’

He further shared-

“And I’m going to go afterward and see him [my friend] and slightly patronize him and say how wonderful it was. And then the interval came and I thought I’d check my emails. It was an astonishing amount of money. It was not his salary. It was his first box office bonus. Not the whole box office bonus, the first one. And it was more money than I’d ever [seen]. It was a seven-figure sum. My feeling of smugness disappeared,”
