Bill ‘Beano’ Hanti, a former bandmate of Johnny Depp, had once asserted that the actor’s marriage with Amber Heard had “ruined” his life. After meeting on the set of their 2011 film The Rum Diary, Depp and Heard started dating and got married in 2015. The next year, Heard filed for divorce, and their partnership was formally dissolved in January 2017.

Heard made domestic abuse claims against the Pirates of the Caribbean actor public during their contentious breakup; the actor later lost a libel battle against The Sun after the British newspaper called him a “wife beater.”

In 2016, Heard requested a divorce, alleging that Depp had physically mistreated her while inebriated during their marriage. Heard was “trying to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse,” according to Depp, who refuted the claims. In 2017, their divorce became final. Because of an opinion piece Amber Heard published in the Washington Post in 2018, Johnny Depp later sued her for defamation. I stood out against s*xual violence and was attacked by our culture, according to the op-ed. Heard, who acknowledged having experienced domestic abuse, said things needed to change. She did not however mention Depp.
Now fans of Depp are saying that they fear for the next partner Amber Heard is going to choose.

The actress is “doing okay” since the verdict, a source told People magazine. After the trial, she feels weary and worn out but is making an effort to keep a positive attitude.
Heard was confirmed to be acting in the next Aquaman sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, repeating her role as Mera, despite the fact that she has not publicly announced her upcoming film projects.
