Since the release of Daniel Craig‘s final James Bond film, No Time To Die, over 18 months have passed. Craig played the British Spy character in five movies. He played James Bond for the first time in Casino Royale (2006) and ended his journey with No Time To Die (2021). After his exit from the role, the search for a new James Bond has begun. 

There are many talented people in the Hollywood industry to take up the role of the British Spy. With many names coming out, there has been a close battle between prominent actors including, Henry Cavill, Tom Hardy, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, for the role. 

Considering the role of James Bond Taylor-Johnson is handsome and has a terrific sense of humor. The 32-year-old is young and reminiscent of one of the all-time best Bonds. The actor proved he’s in shape for Bond in 2022 when he modeled for a Calvin Klein underwear advertisement The Golden Globe winner was said to have filmed scenes as Bond in December, including the recognizable “gun barrel teaser footage” that is frequently used in the 007 franchise.

Talking about Henry Cavill, the actor, after dumping the cape, suddenly has all the time to take up the role of the British Spy. Director Matthew Vaughn has remarked that the actor was “born to do” the role of 007, and he has come close in the past. Before Craig’s casting as Bond in 2006’s Casino Royale, Cavill, who has a Roger Moore smoothness, came incredibly close to landing the job. The Superman actor has a second chance at getting the role, making him an ideal candidate.

Speaking about Tom Hardy, the actor is an ideal choice to play James Bond according to a poll conducted by Party Casino of 1,000 Brits. The results made the Venom star the UK’s No 1 choice to replace Craig as Bond. While Cavill ranked second in the race. Surprisingly, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, who is the current UK favorite, is lagging in ninth place. 

If the result of the poll is to be considered fans want to see Hardy or Cavill as the new James Bond.
