Disney+ and Marvel Studios are currently enjoying a massive resurgence for all comic book fans on various levels. Recently, Disney+ started hosting many Marvel TV series that had originally streamed on the streaming platform Netflix like Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. Now, the MCU’s story on Disney+ will be resuming with Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac, which will be kicking off the 2022 slate for Phase 4.

We are aware that Isaac’s Moon Knight will be finding himself embedded in the larger picture of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Disney+ series has been promoted as a solo one that stands on its own at the moment.

We don’t mean to say that Moon Knight is completely devoid of any connections to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as many fans had recently spotted an Easter egg that ties way back to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in a new footage. There are some rumors around a series that sees Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk too, although this is something that won’t be confirmed until much later.

That being said, here are a few heroes that Moon Knight would love to appear alongside with.

The Punisher

Can MCU have a Moon Knight and Punisher team-up?

Both Punisher and Moon Knight rely heavily on their fantastic combat skills to take on their enemies. However, the duo focuses on various aspects of combat.

The two have also teamed up successfully earlier under quite wholesome circumstances. In the 1989 Punisher Annual #2 issue, the Punisher does cross paths with Moon Knight while he is working on his weirdest case yet: a “doctor” who’s “curing” drug addicts—by turning the same people into serpents. This story was also an essential part of the “Atlantis Attacks” event that ran through the 1989 annuals of Marvel.

Daredevil

Daredevil is another street-level hero that Moon Knight would love to team up with. During a recent interview, Oscar Isaac was asked which MCU characters he would like to team up with as Moon Knigth. The actor revealed that he would like The Midnight Sons to form, alongside Daredevil, Ghost Rider and Punisher.

With Moon Knight already rumored to introduce Blade and most likely Daredevil (as Matt Murdock already made an appearance in No Way Home). However, given the fact that MCU hasn’t introduced all Midnight Sons members, the team is likely to look a little bit different onscreen.

Ghost Rider

It’s about time that the Marvel Cinematic Universe embraced the darker and supernatural universe of Marvel Comics and ever since the release of Eternals, the studio has been trying to do the same. The first episode of Moon Knight is already out and it would be the first supernatural character in the MCU, which will surely lay the foundation for the other dark characters to join him – and the first name on this list has to be Ghost Rider.

Marvel fans have already seen a Ghost Rider in the MCU as Gabriel Luna’s Robbie Reyes in the series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Luna received enough love from fans and was also provided a standalone Ghost Rider series on the Hulu network. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled along with other Marvel TV shows due to the introduction of Disney Plus. However, with Marvel now building a dark world, fans really need to see Ghost Rider on their screens soon.

Blade

Blade is already rumoured to appear in Moon Knight

Blade was already teased during the post-credits scene of Eternals, with Mahershala Ali playing the lead in MCU. Now, a new batch of rumors about the MCU has yet again teased the early arrival of Blade on Disney+’s Moon Knight.

Moon Knight and Blade have teamed up in the pages of Marvel Comics as a part of the Midnight Sons. In the comics, Blade aka Eric Brooks is a human-vampire hybrid since the time of his tragic birth, and has spent his entire life looking to rid the world of blood-thirsty vampires, similar to the one that ended his mother’s life. Over the past years, Blade has successfully mastered his style of taking on the monsters of all sorts.

Doctor Strange

Can MCU form a Midnight Sons team?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is well-known for pulling the rug from under us and the team-up between Doctor Strange and Marc Spector’s Moon Knight is certainly on the cards.

Both, Moon Knight and the Sorcerer Supreme are connected to each other via the mystic arts, so it won’t be very far of a reach to witness a Calamawy crossover with Doctor Strange in the MCU.
