The short teaser consists of a clip where Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff can be seen embracing her twin children Billy and Tommy. On the way the whole footage is cut, it looks like Wanda is unable to bring her twin children back to life as they ceased to exist when the shammed reality that is formed around Westview crumbles to pieces in WandaVision. Currently, it’s unknown how the twins will factor into the storyline of Multiverse of Madness but Marvel fans have begun speculating that Wanda might try and use her newly found powers to bring her twins back to life.

Apart from Billy and Tommy’s return, the TV Spot footage also provides us with a much better look at an evil variant of Doctor Strange in the film. Towards the end of the trailer, one particular scene sees Sinister Strange succeeding in opening a third eye on his forehead, which prompts an exhausted response from the Sorcerer Supreme. Apart from this, the remaining trailer has some scenes that fans will recognize from previous trailers, which includes Wong managing to summon a pair of magical swords and a powered glowing being that many believe to be Superior Iron Man.

The Multiverse of Madness will see the titular character still dealing with his actions’ consequences in No Way Home, where his magical spell goes haywire. Once Strange tears down the boundaries between various realities, he is confronted with various versions of himself, like the aforementioned Sinister Strange. The movie will also introduce some new characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like the America Chavez, played by Xochitl Gomez.

As the film will be playing heavily around the multiverse, Marvel fans are anticipating to see many cameos from other cinematic franchises (Fox) that are still yet to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For instance, Patrick Stewart’s Professor X, from Fox’s X-Men franchise, will be certainly making an appearance, as suggested by the film’s trailer while a new Multiverse of Madness poster also confirmed the existence of What If…?’s Captain Carter making her live-action debut in the film.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit the theaters on May 5.
