‘He Isn’t Gloating About It’: Johnny Depp is Sure His Hollywood Vampires Band Would Conquer the European Music Industry
In what is perhaps the newest turn in Johnny Depp’s roller coaster life, Johnny Depp is getting back together. Not with Amber Heard though. Johnny Depp is getting the band back together. The Hollywood Vampires.
They are back!
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is embarking on a new voyage with his Hollywood Vampires band, announcing concert dates in Germany and Luxembourg for the summer. The group consists of rock stars such as Joe Perry, Alice Cooper and Tommy Henriksen.
This overseas tour comes after they cancelled the one back in March, 2021, owing to the pandemic travel restrictions.
Back then, the band released the statement:
“We are beyond disappointed to announce that the Hollywood Vampires must cancel our rescheduled U.K./European tour this summer. We kept trying to make it happen, but unfortunately due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 travel restrictions, it is just not possible. Thank you for understanding, and we WILL be back rocking with you once the world returns to normal!”

Johnny Depp has been performing for quite sometime
When the verdict was being delivered in the Amber Heard defamation suit, Depp was in Europe, performing shows. In recent weeks, Depp has been abroad doing performances with musician Jeff Beck. The verdict, which was revealed on June 1, awarded more than $10 million in damages to Johnny Depp. Heard was awarded $2 million in damages in one of her countersuit claims, meaning that the Aquaman actress owed Depp more than $8 million.
But for Depp, the case is a story of the past, one he has “moved on” from. Johnny Depp is “happy that it’s over.”
Some sources added, “Although he is relieved about the jury’s verdict, he isn’t gloating about it.”
Johnny Depp has a new trial to deal with
Gregg Brooks, a location manager on one of Depp’s movies City of Lies, alleged the actor of punching him twice in the ribs after screaming at him on set in an altercation on April 13, 2017. While Johnny has claimed that he feared for his own safety during the alleged incident.
Brooks filed a civil complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court back in July 2018. And soon after the Johnny Depp trial was over, he now has to deal with a new case. The trial begins in July.
