The acclaimed star Sylvester Stallone has sent shockwaves down the industry with his recent comments. Stallone who is well known for this role as Rocky and Rambo has declared that he will no longer be playing the role of Rambo. While the snarky comment by Stallone has left fans saddened many still have hopes considering the long history of the actor.
Sylvester Stallone Says He Is Done with Rambo
The Rocky fame star Sylvester Stallone has sent shockwaves down the industry stating that he is done with Rambo. The actor was first seen playing the role of Rambo in 1982 in the action-packed movie Rambo: First Blood.

After working in the first movie, Stallone was seen in four more movies over the years. It was in 2019 that Stallone was seen playing the character in the movie Rambo: Last Blood in which the character of Rambo was seen traveling to Mexico to save his adopted niece. Now reports have been around that Last Blood was the end of this franchise as well as of Stallone in the role.
As reported by Screen Rant talking about this at the Toronto International Flim Festival Stallone said “Rambo, I could leave him. He’s done pretty much, even though they want to do another one, but what am I fighting? Arthritis?” The actor was also seen promoting his upcoming documentary Sly during this event.
The video of Stallone was shared by a Facebook user under the user name JoBlo.com. These comments by the stars have the fans shocked as they are not ready to let go of Rambo.
Fans Still Hope for The Return of Sylvester Stallone as Rambo
While the recent statement by Sylvester Stallone on his future with the character of Rambo has sent shockwaves down the industry, many are still positive about his return considering the history of Stallone.
Before giving up on Rambo, a similar kind of statement was given by the actor for Rocky. Back in the years, Stallone once stated that he was done with the Rocky and would not be part of the franchise anymore. Although despite this statement the actor was further seen in three more Rocky movies.
This track record of the actor has kept the hopes of the fans high despite his current statements. While Stallone has clearly stated that he won’t be returning as Rambo, his past action has left the fans to think otherwise.
